I wasn't worried about every 3 days, because it was no big deal, but right now, even though her poop isn't hard and she's not straining that much, the buildup to it is rough. Lots of crying, saying she needs to go, wanting to take her diaper off, but it's anywhere from 1-12 hours before actual poop happens. She was a miserable jerk at concert in the park yesterday because she only pooped about 1/3 of it - the rest came out at DC today. Random aside: stupid thing I love about cloth diapers is that I get her poop report via her actual poop/wet diapers each day.
We asked pedi about it yesterday at her check up - he said she's probably scared that it will hurt, so she's not going as often as she should, which makes it hurt, which is a cycle. We've seen some improvement with a daily applesauce pouch, and pedi said to give her miralax basically until it's not painful and she forgets about it being painful, and then to wean her off of it and she'll go more regularly. H has a funky digestive system, and he thinks this would have helped him as a kid, so we're doing it.

DD has been constipated out of nowhere for the last week. I feel so bad for her but nothing seems to work right now. I'm assuming she isn't drinking enough water. I picked up some fiber gummies at Sprouts so I'm hoping they will help even her out. They had a few different things to try for constipation, so I'm a little nervous I picked the wrong thing. I just feel so bad for her!
