I've already started the dough for the first batch of challah I'm making for Rosh Hashana dinner, so I thought I'd check in with all of the Jewish/interfaith families here and see what your plans are for the holiday.
We do dinner with a group of friends/extended family-by-choice (it's a few couples and their grown children, they adopted us into the group when we moved here) and then do morning services on Rosh Hashana morning. H and I volunteered to bake challah for dinner, and this year the headcount is up to 22, so we need to bake 4 loaves! I'm also going to make up a cucumber dish since our plants have been so prolific this year.
What is everyone else doing? How do you handle the interfaith aspect? Does the non-Jewish spouse participate?
