One night P asked me to sing the rockabye P song. After singing, I gently laid her in her bed. She took my face in both hands, and said "mommy, we live in Opahoma right?" Yes baby. "And it's safe here in Opahoma?" Of course honey. "And there's no treetops in Opahoma? So P not fall in Opahoma?"
Bahahaha! She asked me to sing rockaby baby, but was terrified of falling from the treetops. Whoops!
Not my kid, but my nephew (A) can't tell the difference between babies, so he relies on what they're wearing. On easter, he looked over (they were both in a diaper in high chairs) and said "Hey, two 'Z's!"
We were at the zoo the other day, and L was in a play area. She stopped playing to walk over to MH and said in a really serious voice, "Daddy. I need. A map." He handed her the park map, and she then looked at it as if figuring out where we should go next.
Every time Mh goes to the bathroom R wishes him to have a happy poop, "Dada, happy poop!" And not my kid, but my nephew was telling me about their cat that they had to put down and said "Cat at farm, chasing mices. New cat someday". Lol
Nugget recently learned the word "Trash" and loves to help throw things away and bring trash to us. J bought a bag of Reeses eggs a couple of weeks ago and has apparently been eating them and leaving the wrappers out, which Nugget has been helping to throw away. When she got her Easter basket, there was a Reeses egg in there, and she immediately picked it up and excitedly said "Trash!"

J has started saying "whatever" when he is at the end of a temper tantrum. Like he will scream and throw himself on the ground, start to get over it, look me in the eye, shrug his shoulders and say "whatever"
I took the kids to see the panda bear movie. On a potty break, my 4yo went in a stall by himself. I heard him go, then a flush and a startled yelp and him shouting "It's a magic potty! Why is the potty magic?"
