Too bad LO doesn't understand that you're supposed to sleep in on the weekends
I was up for my run anyhow, but sometimes baby won't stay in bed without me. Today was one of those mornings, and though it is one of my H's few days off, it wasn't a sleep-in day for him. So I had a grumbly H and a sleepy baby when I got home. All's well now; they're both napping. We're going out to dinner tonight and I have a massage tomorrow. What's everyone up to this fine weekend?

Isaac was feeling much better today after a morning of snuggling in bed and watching Disney movies. We ventured out for shopping at a consignment store. Found his costume for $6!! The same one I was going to buy online for $40.

MIL had a stroke last night we weren't informed until after 5:30 PM today. She's fine and alert and they are running more tests to figure out why her heart rate is low. We were told not come home and enjoy the wedding tonight.

Driving by to say hi, I hope you are all having a great weekend! We went to corn maze and pumpkin farm today and lo loved the pumpkins! I'm looking forward to a lazy day at home tomorrow to recharge before another crazy week.
I also love everyone's pics! We're a cute bunch up in here. Hooray for bumps and teeth and pumpkin patches! JJH, happy travels tomorrow! Msnicole, I'm sorry to hear about your MIL, and hope that you were able to enjoy the wedding night. I had the last straw with my H tonight. I told him he needs to talk to someone about his anger/constant dissatisfaction because I can't take it anymore! I swear it must be true that opposites attract, but come on, man. Also, my neighbors must be having a rager. I can feel the bass from their music- and it is the wee hours of the morning here!

Zengal I had the same issue with my husband a few years back. He talked to a doctor and got put on some medication and he's like a different person. Well same person just happier and less angry! Hope he starts feeling better soon, it's the worst when your other half is not feeling well emotionally. I wouldn't mind going to your neighbors rager

Ladies it was a very mild stroke. Last night she had full strength back in her left side and was eating subway when she called DH back.
My cousin's h's side was just as interesting as I expected. My cousin decided to mix up the seating arrangement and mix the families up. I had a woman with a face tattoo at my table, my parents who would have helped with DD were across the room at a different table. Honestly his side looked like we were a shampoo aisle away from fight (Walmart reference). We left before the open bar could cause too many problems, but drinking was heavy with no signs of slowing down. Thankfully most of the family had kids who could drive them home. For the anniversary dance they called anyone who was shacking up to the dance floor in an effort to get more than 16 people on the dance floor. But my favorite part was that the "groom's" sister took the mike to give a toast after my cousins said no and said hopefully we'll be doing it agin in 10 year but if they don't work out they'll do it with whoever they marry next.
Thanks Jax and Pixie! I feel optimistic about things after our "come to Jesus" moment. I don't think he thought being shitty to us was a big deal. Msnicole, so glad your MIL will be okay. And the wedding sounds like a blast! Btw, did anyone hear that Kim Z from RHOA had a TIA this week too? Off to the Halloween thread. We tried on the costume this morning!
How nice to be home JJH! We've had a wonderful day! Went for a run together with my H, then we went for frozen yogurt. I let baby try a little and got some priceless faces -and video! I think she was really shocked by the temperature, but kept coming back for more! Then we went to the store as a family, we all took a nap, and now I'm headed for my massage. H has been attentive and pleasant, like the man I used to know
I let liam try some pink berry while we were away too and also priceless video and faces because of the temperature. It was pomegranate flavor so I thought maybe the tartness too, until he snagged a lemon slice and he didn't even make a face when he put it in his mouth!

MIL is going to have more tests. We went straight to the hospital when we got back into town. FIL is worried and it's obvious she's struggling. She loses her breath easily and is moving really slowly. Her heart rate is really low and they are thinking she might need a pacemaker.
DH already had taken a personal day at work so now he'll be spending it at the hospital. BIL is on vacation so he still hasn't been told about the stroke so he won't coming rushing back. BIL tends to over react and become irrational so MIL doesn't want him to know until he comes home on Wed.
I'm actually looking forward to this week because DD can get back on her schedule. This weekend has been awful. I'm also hopeful that now that MIL is getting all the tests she needs done maybe just maybe she'll do a better job taking care of herself. She was supposed to do a sleep study a month ago and kept putting it off, the hospital did it last night which is why she has to have additional tests done.
